💰 Digital Securities Sandbox is now open!
The UK Financial Conduct Authority is now accepting applications for the Digital Securities Sandbox (DSS). The sandbox is open to businesses of all stages registered in the UK and will enable the issuing, trading and settling of real digital securities.
🛡️ Identity Theft comes with Travel Insurance!
InsurTech BOXX Insurance and World Travel Protection (part of Cover-More Group) have joined forces to launch Cyber Assist, a cyber protection solution for travellers. The solution checks whether travellers’ information has been breached or sold on the dark web and also alerts customers of potential threats and scams.

Watches of Switzerland has acquired Hondinkee, including its watch insurance service that is underwritten by Chubb. It furthers Watches of Switzerland’s desire to reach further into the luxury watch and adjacent markets. Watch this space!
📜 Crypto licensing is coming to Australia
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has indicated it intends to update its policy guidance on regulation of crypto assets while a number of cases make their way through appeal courts. It has indicated it expects more firms to be licensed, ahead of proposed legislation specifically targeting the sector.
